INTRODUCING THREE NEW BEERS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT THIS SEASON!
Alta 75th Anniversary Ale / 4% ABV: To honor 75 years of excellent skiing at one of the world’s most recognized and celebrated ski resorts. Alta Ski Enthusiasts and the Wasatch Brew Crew decided to collectively commemorate this impressive milestone by brewing a beer worthy of such an occasion, the Alta 75th Anniversary Ale.
Alta 75th Anniversary Ale is a thirst quenching steep and deep dry hopped Pale Ale. Deep in color this
beer is brewed with rich caramel and pale malts balanced with Falconers Flight hops from the Pacific
Northwest, delivering a piney floral and citrus aromas. The crafting for this beer reflects the authenticity
of both the beverage and of the ski area it honors.
Alta 75th Anniversary Ale will be bottled for the 2012/2013 ski season by Wasatch Beers. This beer will
be available for purchase in Squatters and Wasatch pubs; The Beer Store located at 1763 South 300
West in Salt Lake City; restaurants, resorts, grocery and convenience stores surrounding Big and Little
Cottonwood Canyons.
Kolob Kölsch Style Ale / 4% ABV: The word Kolob plays a rich and unique role in Utah's varied and colorful culture. To some, it is the
word that is closely tied to teaching, shrouded in the pursuit of speculative astronomy. To others it is a
clear and simple reference to a popular outdoor destination in Utah's spectacular Zion National Park.
To trivia fans, it may conjure up memories of the short lived record company started by the Osmond
Brothers in the 1970's. To beer enthusiasts, it will surely be known as a damn fine easy drinking Kölsch
style ale. This brilliant golden ale is modestly hopped and offers a crisp and rewarding finish.
Wasatch Kolob Ale is now available throughout the State of Utah in both draft and 12 ounce bottles.
Look for a Kolob six pack where ever fine beers are sold and be sure to ask you favorite watering hole
to carry it on draft and of course, you can always find fresh, cold Kolob Ale in bottles and growler refills
at the BEER STORE located at 1763 South 300 West, Salt Lake City.
Ghost Rider White I.P.A. / 6% ABV.: Ghostrider is built around a traditional American IPA with a twist. We use super pale
malted barley and wheat to keep the color very light, white you might say! Loads of
citrusy American hops combined with a touch of coriander give this dry hopped IPA
wonderful complexity in aroma and flavor. This is a highly drinkable beer.
Inspired by a dream Adam Curfew, director of cellar operations, had a few months ago. So
startled, he woke up, it was the middle of the night, a flash of inspiration, dry mouth and a
wicked thirst for a crisp easy drinking white IPA. Legend has it the Ghostrider roams the high-desert
seeking revenge on those who stole his recipe for the perfect IPA…
…Adam might be in trouble.
